When a housewife uses Carrara quartz countertops for home cooking tasks, the children occasionally try to scratch the surface with coins. However, due to the high hardness of Carrara quartz, which reaches a level 7 on the Mohs scale, the countertop shows no significant marks even after two years of such use.
In commercial environments, Carrara quartz countertops may need to endure direct contact with hot pots reaching up to 200°C daily. These extreme conditions pose a challenge for most materials, but Carrara quartz demonstrates its superior heat resistance; even after more than 5,000 instances of such high-temperature contact, the surface remains undamaged, confirming its structural stability of up to 98%.
In a popular coffee shop, the extremely low water absorption rate of Carrara quartz, as low as 0.02%, ensures that even staining liquids like tea and coffee can be easily cleaned without leaving any marks. The use in professional baking workshops further proves the compressive strength of Carrara quartz. The surface not only supports bags of flour and sugar weighing up to 50 kilograms but also withstands heavy mixers. Despite facing continuous pressures of up to 400 MPa, the Carrara quartz countertop shows outstanding compressive durability and remains undamaged even after long-term use.
Easy to Maintain
In routine tests in home kitchens, records show that Carrara quartz countertops can withstand various everyday challenges even after three months of continuous use. In a specific test, the countertop came into contact with various potential contaminants, including coffee, oil stains, and lemon juice. The results indicate that after regular cleaning, the stain removal rate reached an impressive 98%, while comparative materials like granite only achieved a stain removal rate of 85%.
In commercial environments, particularly in high-use restaurant kitchens, Carrara quartz demonstrates efficient durability. In a six-month field test, a busy restaurant's Carrara quartz countertop endured several daily impacts from heavy objects and chemical exposures. Throughout this period, the countertop showed no significant wear or discoloration, maintaining its original beauty and functionality. In a real-world scenario at a coffee shop, after more than 10,000 customer interactions, ranging from coffee spills to slicing bread, the countertop's scratch and stain resistance remained at top levels.
Beautiful Design
In a kitchen design competition, a designer created an award-winning kitchen using Carrara quartz. The design highlighted the quartz's high gloss and delicate texture. Through precise data measurement, this material achieved a light reflectivity of 85%, making the entire kitchen appear brighter and more spacious under natural light.
A large residential project chose Carrara quartz as the standard configuration for all kitchen countertops. The design team specifically recorded the selection ratio of different colors and textures of Carrara quartz. Over 60% of customers chose white Carrara quartz with subtle veins, as it elegantly integrates into any kitchen decor style, from minimalist to modern farmhouse. Regarding the diversity of Carrara quartz colors, introducing unconventional colors like deep blue and emerald green has increased the popularity of custom kitchen solutions, raising customer satisfaction by 30%.
Good Compatibility
In a national interior design survey, 85% of professional designers recommended using Carrara quartz for kitchen countertops, particularly highlighting its compatibility with natural and industrial materials like wood, metal, and glass. Among these designers, 92% believe that Carrara quartz, with its wide range of color options and texture styles, can easily adapt to kitchen styles from traditional to modern.
In a kitchen renovation project, a designer paired Carrara quartz with fine gray-white veins with dark oak cabinets. The post-use satisfaction survey showed that customer satisfaction with this combination reached 95%. Another project combined Carrara quartz with polished copper accessories to create a luxurious modern look. After the project completion, data analysis indicated that this material combination attracted more potential buyers, increasing real estate value recognition by 30% compared to traditional marble.
